Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/ Citizenship:
A candidate must be either
- (i) a Citizen of India or
- (ii) a subject of Nepal or
- (iii) subject of
Bhutan or - (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before Jan.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note: provided that of a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India.

Probation Period
- Selected candidates in JMGS-I will be on probation for a period of 2 years and selected candidates in MMGS-II will be on probation for a period of 1 year.
UCO Bank Recruitment Process
Security Officer:
- The selection will be made on the basis of the Interview only and the candidates will be called for interview in the ratio of 3 to 5 times the number of vacancies, as per Bank’s decision. Minimum pass marks in the interview will be 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) out of a total of 100 marks. Based on interview marks, a Merit/ Final Select list will be drawn.
