Eligibility Criteria of SBI Bank Manager Recruitment 2021

Post

Qualification

Manager (Marketing) (MMGS-III)

Full time MBA/ PGDBM or its equivalent with specialisation in Marketing/ Finance from Institutes recognized / approved by
Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC.

Course completed through correspondence/part-time will not be eligible.

Minimum 5 years post qualification experience.

Deputy Manager (Marketing) (MMGS-II)

Full time MBA/ PGDBM or its equivalent with specialisation in Marketing/ Finance from Institutes recognized / approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC.

Course completed through correspondence/part-time will not be eligible.

Minimum 2 years post qualification experience.

SBI Bank Manager Salary /Pay Scale

Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS II): Rs. 31705/- to 45950/-
Middle Management Grade Scale III (MMGS III): Rs. 42020 to 51490/-

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of performance in online test and interaction. However, if the number of applications is less, Bank reserves the right to consider a selection of the candidate(s) through shortlisting and interview, instead of an Online written test & interview.

Descriptive Test (Online)-English Knowledge Test (Letter Writing & Essay)	–	50	30 Minutes

Candidates are required to qualify in each of the objective tests and descriptive test by securing minimum passing marks.
The minimum passing marks will be as decided by the Bank or may be waived at the discretion of the Bank.
The questions will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English except for English Knowledge Test which will be in English only.
The candidates will have the option to answer the questions in Hindi or English (except for English Knowledge Test).

Interview:

An adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview based on performance in the online written test.
The interview will carry a maximum of 25 marks. The qualifying marks in the Interview will be as decided by the Bank.

Candidates will have to qualify both in written exam and interview separately

Merit List:

The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating the marks scored in a test of Professional Knowledge (out of 100 marks) and interview (out of 25 marks)
Weightage of the score in final merit will be as under
Online Written Test: 75%
Interview: 25%

If selection through Shortlisting and Interview:

Shortlisting:

An adequate number of candidates will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of parameters decided by the Bank.
The number of candidates to be shortlisted for an interview will be as decided by the Bank.

Interview:

candidates shortlisted through the shortlisting exercise will be called for an interview.
The interview will be of 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the Interview will be as decided by the Bank.

Merit List:

The final merit list will be arrived at on the basis of interview marks only.

SC/ST Candidates: No Fee.
