Education Qualification

(Siddha) or GCIM (Siddha) or MD (Siddha) or B.I.M (Siddha) or L.I.M (Siddha) or a degree in B.S.M.S. awarded by anyone of the recognised Universities including Dr.M.G.R. Medical University of Tamil Nadu or any other recognized degree or diploma in Siddha, the holders of which are eligible for registration under ‘A’ Class or ‘A ‘ Special Class with the Central Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai.
AND
Must have registered his / her name with the Central Board of Indian Medicine / Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council, Chennai
Assistant Medical Officer (Ayurveda) HPIM (Ayurveda) or GCIM (Ayurveda) or L.I.M. (Ayurveda) or a degree in B.A.M.S. awarded by any one of the recognised Universities including Dr.M.G.R. Medical University of Tamil Nadu or any other recognized degree or diploma in Ayurveda, the holders of which are eligible for registration under ‘A’ Class or ‘A’ Special Class with the Central Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai.
AND
Must have registered his / her name with the Central Board of Indian Medicine / Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai
Assistant Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) Any of Post Graduate Diploma of the Faculty of Homoeopathy
Assistant Medical Officer (Unani) BUM&S or other equivalent degrees which are included, in the Second Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970, the holders of which are eligible for registration under Class “ A “ special or class’s “A” the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Madras.
Assistant Medical Officer / Lecturer Grade-II (Yoga and Naturopathy) Must have passed a degree or diploma in Naturopathy with not less than four years academic duration awarded by a recognised University
and
Must have registered his name with the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai.

  • Level-22  Rs.56,100/- – 1,77,500/-

Selection Process For MRB TN Assistant Medical Officer

  • Selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the written examination, duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation of Government of Tamil Nadu and satisfaction of the Qualification and other conditions stipulated in this Notification.

How to Apply For MRB TN Assistant Medical Officer Recruitment 2020

  1. Interested candidates are first required to log on to the Medical Services Recruitment Board’s website www.mrb.tn.gov.in
  2. On the Home Page, click “Online Registration” to open up the On-Line Application Form.
  3. Select the name of the post(s).
  4. Mobile number and e-mail ID are mandatory. All communication from MRB will be sent to the registered mobile number by SMS and registered e-mail ID ONLY. No Communication will be sent by post.
  5. Candidates are required to upload their scanned copy of colour photograph and scanned copy of the signature.
  6. Pay Application Fee Through Online.
  7. Last, Submit the Application Form & Download or Take a Printout For Future Use.

Download MRB TN Assistant Medical Officer Admit Card 

  • The Hall Tickets for eligible candidates will be made available in the Board’s Website www.mrb.tn.gov.in for download.
  • No Hall Tickets will be sent by post. Intimation regarding the availability of hall ticket for download will be sent through the registered email ID / SMS to the registered mobile number.
  • The candidates, applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination.
  • Their admission to the examination is purely provisional subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions.
  • Mere issue of Hall Ticket to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been fully cleared by the Board.

List of Documents to be produced at the time of Certificate Verification:

  • Evidence of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate/SSLC / HSC)
  • Community certificate from the competent authority (Permanent Community Certificate)
  • Evidence of Educational qualification (SSLC / HSC / any Qualification in Siddha Medicine as prescribed in Heading 6B of this Notification)
  • Evidence of Tamil qualification (viz., SSLC / HSC / Certificate for having passed the second class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission).
  • Central Board of Indian Medicine/ Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council, Chennai Registration Certificate.
  • Certificate of character and conduct issued by Group A or Group B Officer on or after the date of issue of this notification.
  • Certificate of character and conduct issued by the Head of the Institution in which he/she last studied.
  • Differently abled certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed Form (if applicable).
  • No Objection Certificate from the Appointing Authority concerned (if applicable)
  • An undertaking and declaration as in Heading 15A and 15B of this notification.
  • In respect of Ex-Servicemen, they have to produce the Discharge Certificate, PPO No. etc.
  • A photo ID card issued by Government showing the address as in the application
