- Position: Research Associate
Job Profile:
The responsibilities of the Research Assistant will include the following:
A. Be stationed at Anand, Gujarat, and be a part of a team undertaking the study at IRMA
B. Required to carry out data collection in select rural and semi-rural schools in Gujarat.
C. Also, be required to transcribe the data and analyze the same as per the guidance of the investigator team or reporting officer as the case may be.
D. Clean data, analyze and present it periodically
E. Write research reports and such other communications as needed from time to time
F. Assist in other work related to the project
Eligibility Criteria of IRMA Research Associate Recruitment 2022
Education Qualification and Experience
- A. Master’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university/institute with specialization in social sciences or humanities
- B. Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati language
- C. Proficiency in handling MS office
- D. Excellent command over oral and written English & Gujarati language
- E. Experience in carrying out qualitative data collection, transcription, and analysis
Salary /Pay Scale
- The appointment will be made on a contractual basis with a consolidated remuneration of Rs.16,000/- per month based on qualification and experience.
- Candidates with UGC NET qualifications shall be considered for the position of a Research Associate with a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 20,000/- per month.
- This is a contractual position for six months.

Job Profile:
The responsibilities of the Research Associate will include the following.
- Be stationed at Anand, Gujarat, and be a part of a team undertaking the study at IRMA.
- Travel to meet various stakeholders and gather data as per requirement under the guidance of the principal investigators.
- Clean data, organize, analyze, and present to the research team on a periodic basis as per the requirement of the principal investigators.
- Assist the principal investigators in other works related to the project, as determined by the

Education Qualification
- Post-graduation or above in Management, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Social Work or any other related discipline
- Related experience in research/academic/report writing is desirable
- Proficiency in reading and writing Gujarati, Hindi, and English
IRMA Research Associate Salary/Pay Scale
- The appointment will be made on a purely contractual basis.
- The consolidated remuneration between Rs.25,000 minimum to Rs. 30,000/- maximum per month will be offered based on the qualification and experience. This is a contractual position for three months, extendable by one more month depending on the project requirement. The general terms and conditions of employment at IRMA will be applicable
Selection Process
- The interview will be conducted online/offline as per the prevailing situation and the selected candidate will have to join within 10 days.
- Relaxation in qualification/experience may be considered by IRMA in case of an exceptional candidate
