IIT Gandhinagar Research Associate Recruitment 2021

IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of Research Associate (RA) to work on the research project entitled ” Development of reusable plasmonic platforms for specific detection of Covid-19 RNA at ultralow concentrations” funded by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE)-Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), India. The principal investigator of the project is Dr. Saumyakanti Khatua, Associate professor, Discipline of Chemistry, IIT Gandhinagar. The details of the post are as follows:

Nature of post: Temporary

Desired Qualifications: (Research Associate)

Ph.D. in science with a good scientific publication record.
Upper Age limit: 45 Years

Duration: 6 months

1. Nanobiotechnology
2. Plasmonic nanomaterials synthesis
3. single-molecule spectroscopy

Job Description:

1. Synthesis and characterisation of plasmonic nanomaterials
2. Synthesis of plasmonic sensors
3. Testing of plasmonic sensors towards detection of RNA

IIT Gandhinagar Research Associate Salary /Pay Scale

Fellowship: Rs. 47,000/- pm + HRA*
