- Research Associate
Project Tenure:
- The position will be offered for an initial period of one year beginning from date of joining and may be extended based on performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data modelling, and analysis of household survey data.
- Writing detailed report and making presentations.
- Assisting faculties with data analysis and presenting the same.
- Work for the Centre on various research projects
IIM Research Associate Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate in Economics / Econometrics from an Institution of repute Additional qualification: M.Phil. / Ph.D. / those appeared UPSC Mains Exam aspiring to pursue career in research.
- Age: Max. 30
Experience required:
- Minimum two years’ experience in econometric analysis.
- Should have experience working on large data set-cleaning, data integrity check and analysis.
- Should have a comprehensive understanding of household surveys.
- Ability to work on theme-based research.
- Excellent writing and data presentation skills.
Desirable:
- Knowledge to use NSSO data and link various primary research database
- Proven interest towards areas of consumption, savings and investments function of households, and financial inclusion
- Detailed report writing skills
Technical skills:
- Knowledge of R, STATA, SPSS tools
- Excellent writing and data presentation skills
