- General Manager – (HR)- (On Long Term Contract) MP – 223
Role:
- Address the strategic business objectives through proactive HR Policies & interventions, Introduce & establish innovative HR practices in the company to enable building a performance-driven culture and suitable Industrial Relations climate with all statutory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute towards the development of the Long, Medium, and Short term strategic plans.
- Lead the development of progressive HR and IR culture in accordance with the growing needs of the business, employees, and to increase operational efficiencies.
- Formulating and implementing HR policies/practices including Manpower Planning, Succession Planning, etc. in accordance with the strategy determined by the Management.
- Direct, design, and implementation of HRD initiatives.
- Track execution of HR systems and processes to provide overall direction and initiate corrective measures.
- Interact regularly with workers and union leaders on all critical employee relations matters and execution of periodic agreements like Wage settlement, Bonus negotiation, etc. based on statutory norms, established practices, and company policies.
- Implementation of welfare measures for all employees based on approved plans.
- Develop and monitor HR Budgets as well as monitoring of Payroll management and HR Data Management.
Personal Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of formulating and implementing various HR strategies and systems in order to achieve the organization’s objectives.
- Well versed knowledge of labor laws and other industrial statutory compliance.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels.
- Strong IT skills, aware of the latest development in new technologies.
- Ability to deliver under pressure and capable of taking critical decisions.
- Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limits
- Around 50 to 55 years
Education Qualification
- MSW/MLW/ MPM/MBA in HR (full time) /other equivalent qualification from reputed Institute/ University.
- Knowledge of the Gujarati language is preferable.
- Candidate must be Computer and Technology Savvy and must have exposure to SAP / HRIS system
- Around 21-25 Years of Post Qualification Experience, out of which 5 years at Senior Level in the HR Dept. of the large industrial company having manpower of more than 1500. The incumbent should have worked continuously for 7 years in one organization.
