- Senior Manager
Desired Profile:
Should have experience of minimum of 10 years of managing large scale LAN/WAN/Metropolitan area network / Data Centre Technology project
Should have expertise in:
- Day to Day operation activity of large scale ICT infrastructure project.
- Coordination with various stakeholders for resolution of day to day activities
- Network protocols and industry standards
- Wi-Fi/ Wireless and Active equipment/components
- Preparing road maps/concept paper/Network policies
- Managing security and network infrastructure
Eligibility Criteria of GIL Senior Manager Recruitment 2022
Age Limits
- Not more than 42 years as on 30.09.2021
Education Qualification
- A degree of BE or B. Tech. in IT or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Computer Technology or a degree of MCA from a recognized university
- Preferred certifications: CCNA / CCNP / ITIL /CISA/CISM
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of Operations & Maintenance operator and Third-Party Auditor and all associated network agencies
- Monitor service levels, contractual obligations and deliverables.
- Monitor complains logged at the helpdesk & ensure its resolution by the concerned agencies
- Assist/support organisation in various policy level decisions related to the ICT infrastructures.
- To facilitate the design, development and deployment of large scale projects
- Understanding of voice/video over IP networks, common security capabilities such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and active devices and passive components of network.
- Understanding of layered communications protocols and network architectures
- Study the status of IT Infrastructure of State and assist the State Government in coming up with a robust IT infrastructure to support the roll out of e – governance projects
- Analyse the existing/ proposed projects in regard to strategic control, security, disaster recovery and business continuity
- Ensure utilization of the common infrastructure being setup under Central Government projects implemented at State level
- Support in monitoring/ help establish suitable network/ IT infrastructure monitoring system at the State level
Soft Skills:
- Should possess managerial expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Gujarati
- Ability to liaise with major/various stakeholders
Salary/Pay Scale
- Payscale will be is level 09 (53100-167800) in 7th pay and as per 6th pay 9300-34800 GP 5400. Approx CTC 80,000/
