- Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) (Dy. HoD) (One Post)
Eligibility Criteria of DPT Deputy Chief Engineer Recruitment 2021
Age Limits
- Maximum 42 Years
Education Qualification
- i) Degree or equivalent in Civil Engg. from a recognized university/Institution.
- (ii) Twelve years’ experience in executive cadre in Planning /Construction /Design /Maintenance preferably of Port and Marine Structures in an Industrial/ Commercial/ Govt. Undertaking.
DPT Deputy Chief Engineer Salary/Pay Scale
- 80000- 220000 (Pre Revised 16000- 400- 20800)

How to Apply For DPT Deputy Chief Engineer Recruitment 2021
- The applicants are requested to apply in the “Online Application Portal” of the Ministry of Shipping.
- The applicant has to register in the Online Application Portal. No application other than OAP shall be accepted.
- The candidate will submit the printout of the application form to his administrative Port for onward forwarding.
- The Administrative Ports are required to forward the applications of the candidates along with the following documents: –
- Certified copies of APARs for the last 5 years (1.4.2014 to 31.3.2020) attested by an officer, not below the rank of Dy. HoD on each page;
- A statement showing year-wise availability of ACR/APARs and grading duly signed by the Dy. Chairman/Chairman as per the Ministry’s letter dated 1.2.2007. If APAR for a particular year during the last 5 years is not available, “No Report Certificate” may be furnished along with ACR/APARs of the preceding years;
- (iii) Attested photocopies of all certificates and proof of educational qualification, present and past work experience in the respective post and pay scale;
- (iv) No objection certificate from the respective Port
- (v) Undertaking of the applicant to the effect that the candidature will not be withdrawn, if selected by the Services Selection Committee;
- (vi) Vigilance and administrative clearance of the concerned Port, as per enclosed pro forma and
- (vii) Two passport size photographs.
